Recording Setup: This sound was recorded on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 11:47 PM next to the President’s House. The TASCAM DR-40 microphone was put on the sidewalk next to the President’s House and W Fourth St, facing northeast towards Carnegie Building /N College Ave.

Description: A few cars can be heard as they drive by at a moderate speed. The sound of sprinklers can be heard, which were watering the patch of grass next to Carnegie across the street from the President’s House. Sprinklers are usually a keynote, but they can be heard very clearly in the recording since there is an absence of students. The noise that is consistent in the background was probably the wind–since it was cold during that time of night. The loud shuffling noises were because we were adjusting the microphone while recording. The two prominent noises from this recording are the sprinklers and the wind. At the end of the recording, the wind gets louder.
