Recording Setup: This sound was recorded on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 10:51 AM outside of the Keck Science Center. The TASCAM DR-40 microphone was put on the public seating area near the entrance of the building.

Description: There were a couple of students around, there was also one girl talking to her friend on the phone nearby throughout the recording. Since the recording was done outdoors, the human voice is not as clear, the sound has more mass and passes further away. The keynote is the underlying machine sound, the signal is the “beep” sound from the truck and the sound of opening and closing the door.
