Recording Setup: This sound was recorded on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the first floor of the Keck Science Center. The TASCAM DR-40 microphone was put on the public seating area facing professors’ offices. 

Description: There were a couple of students around, with two professors chatting while their door was open. The recording was done inside the building, the human voice is clear, the sound has less mass and is more transparent. The keynote is the underlying machine sound, the signal is the sound of opening and closing the door.
